Snow Day Emergency

Vincent Bogle can repair a chair, improvise dinner, and explain almost any mistake until it sounds intentional. His fifteen-year-old daughter Talia is harder to convince. Since leaving Jamaica for Montreal, they have been sending home the same cheerful report: everything is going well. Behind the photographs are unreliable shifts, unfamiliar routines, and a girl who misses her mother more than her father knows. Every winter mishap makes their performance harder to maintain—and gives them an unexpected chance to understand each other. Snow Day Emergency is a warm, sharply observed family comedy about migration, growing up, and the awkward work of making a home together. Each episode has its own comic predicament and payoff, while the season follows a father and daughter learning how to tell each other the truth.
