Finding and buying books
What formats are available?
Available formats are listed on each book’s product page. Check the format and access details before placing your order.
Are all books available to read online?
Online reading depends on the title and the access offered for it. Look for FiWEH Reader or online-reading information on the book’s product page.
Are there free books?
Selected titles may be offered free to read or download. Each title’s page explains what is available and whether an account is required.
Can I preview a book?
Where a sample is available, you can use the preview or first-chapter option on the book’s page. Samples are not available for every title.
Your account and library
How do I access my purchased books?
Sign in using the account associated with your purchase, then open My Library or My Account → Downloads, depending on the access included with your order.
A book is missing from my library. What should I do?
First, check that you are signed in with the email address used for the purchase and that the order has completed.
If the book still does not appear, contact us with your order number and the book title.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Use the Lost your password? link on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your email address. Check your spam or junk folder if the message does not arrive.
Reading with FiWEH Reader
What is FiWEH Reader?
FiWEH Reader is the website’s reading interface for eligible digital books. It lets you open supported titles directly on the site.
How do I start reading?
Sign in, open My Library, and choose Start Reading for an eligible book.
If you have already started the book, the button may show Continue Reading.
Why am I being sent to the login page?
Your account is used to confirm access to eligible books. Sign in with the account associated with your purchase, then return to your library.
Can I change the text size or appearance?
Use the appearance controls available in FiWEH Reader. The options shown depend on the current reader version and the book format.
Can I read on my phone or tablet?
FiWEH Reader is intended for use through a web browser on supported devices. If you encounter a display or navigation problem, tell us your device, browser, and book title.
Can I read offline?
Website reading requires an internet connection. If your purchase includes an EPUB download, you can download the file and use a compatible reading app that supports offline reading.
Downloads
Where do I download my ebook?
For orders that include downloadable files, sign in and open My Account → Downloads. Select the file listed for your book.
What is an EPUB file?
EPUB is a digital book format supported by many ebook-reading apps. You will need a compatible app to open a downloaded EPUB.
My download will not open. What should I do?
Check that the download completed and that your reading app supports the file format. Try downloading the file again if it appears incomplete.
If the problem continues, contact us with the book title, file format, device, and app you are using.
Orders and access problems
I paid, but I cannot access my book.
Check your order status and confirm that you are signed in to the account associated with the purchase.
If access is still unavailable, send us your order number and the book title so we can investigate.
I may have purchased the same book twice.
Contact us with both order numbers so we can review the orders.
Can I request a refund?
Please refer to our [Refund Policy link] for the terms that apply to your purchase. Contact us if you need help with an order or an access problem.
