The Apology Shop

Retired teacher Inez Holder has a desk in her daughter's Bridgetown print shop, a good pen, and firm opinions about the words people hide behind. Customers bring broken promises, family quarrels and letters they cannot begin. Inez helps them name what they have done and decide what comes next. But other people's apologies keep brushing against a night at her old school. As the memories gather, the woman who always knew what to say must face the person she silenced. A character-led Caribbean drama with a gentle mystery, The Apology Shop follows the uneasy, sometimes funny work of repairing harm without being promised forgiveness.
