I have completed the work rough draft and I was working on the second draft where I go line by line, chapter by chapter to check grammar and conduct some edits. My editor is ready for the manuscript, but I am not yet prepared to deliver it because I feel there are some more things I need to tighten up in the story.
The ending is done but some scenes before that need polishing.

I have been editing the book checking for grammar and punctuation. So far, I am at Chapter 21. My goal is to finish this phase of the process by next Saturday or sooner. It is tedious because I am looking at the flush and removing them.
After a year of rewrites, I have finally got to a satisfying ending for the book. I am currently in the process of add breadcrumbs and cutting out excess from the narrative to make the story more concise and impactful. I am currently on Chapter 52 of 63. I believe, I will be done with the book by the end of the week. After that, I will run it through Grammarly and ProWritingAid to do a final edit. After that I will submit if for publishing.
